Hikki's "Come Back to Me" is avaiable on iTUNES NOW  It's her very first Eng song this year (it's been ages since her last Eng album)
Eventually got the whole single today and just can't stop looping the songs. I am a huge fan of Hikki and already in love with Sanctuary and Simple and Clean (as some of you may figured out, from my blogring: Utada Hikaru ~ Passion ~ | ~ Sanctuary ~ ) and all her Japanese songs. When I heard that very dramatic piano opening I fell in love at once. Come Back To Me is a typical western ballad and mainsteam. You’ve got a simple and catchy beat (which could be easily found in today's Americanized R&B) going on, along with a very pretty piano in the background. Her voice is really nice and fits the melody prefectly. For me there's two problems with the song: it sounds like a bit of Mariah Carey, frankly. (If I want Carey, I will go for it... ...) Yet the song is a bit too long and sort of boring from the middle with the constant repeats - but that's common in the States and Hikki does great in layering her voice up thick over the tracks.
